Owned and operated by South Pasadena mom Amy Shachory, Amy’s Playground is a haven for kids and parents alike. We feature a large air-conditioned facility filled with toys to challenge kids’ bodies and minds, regardless of the weather outside. In addition, our carpeted playground is shoe-free. Socks are required for both kids and adults so that everyone leaves as clean as they arrive! Amy’s Playground is secure. We maintain a strict policy that each child must be accompanied by an adult, and we closely monitor the flow of traffic in and out of the facility. We’re also quite comfortable – we have clean bathrooms (one with changing table), soft couches, picnic tables and a bring-your-own-food policy (though you can also buy snacks and drinks at our store). And Amy’s Playground values grown-ups as much as kids: we offer complimentary coffee and a small reading library, as well as a fabulous boutique, perfect for selecting last-minute gifts and cards while your kids play. When your child’s birthday is just around the corner, remember that Amy’s Playground throws great parties – check out the "parties" link and call us to arrange everything. As a courtesy to all our guests, we ask that children exhibiting symptoms of contagious illness visit us only when they are well. Closed – Memorial Day, Labor Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day Summer days, rainy days and school holidays can get busy. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation sharing the playground and picnic area.
